The Netball Club was formed in 1976 under the name of Keysborough Parish of the Resurrection (KPR) Netball Club with the purpose of assisting children within the community to play netball in a safe and friendly environment.
In 2003 The Committee of the KPR Netball Club met with the directors of the Noble Park Social club to discuss the concept of affiliation as a means to:
• Expand our player and supporter numbers
• Cement a venue for social activities
• Explore possible flow-on benefits that may exist through the Noble Park Football Social Club and its networks
• Generate more members to the Noble Park Football Social Club (NPFSC)
• A successful relationship was formed and the Netball Club now forms and affiliated sporting arm to NPFSC
The Noble Park-KPR Netball club is a great club: it gives our kids an opportunity to meet friends, develop skills and have some fun along the way. I urge all parents to get behind it and support in any way they can.
All netball in Victoria is under the umbrella of the Victorian Netball Association - you can visit their site here.
