General Info for the Season:

VOLUNTEERS:

The Noble Park Football Club has always prided itself on the wonderful group of volunteers who have given their time over a long period of time.

Within a football club there are many different and varied roles/jobs which have to be undertaken. Often people are reluctant to offer their services because they think that all jobs are filled or that they would not be welcome.

We can assure you that any volunteer would be welcomed with open arms and that there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with the Noble Park Football Club. An involvement could be on home games, away games or on training nights.

Help the club on training nights and match days by taking on some of the menial tasks, such as:

• Making sure the footballs are pumped up.
• Collecting footballs from behind the goals.
• Filing up the water bottles.
• Help out with the BBQ on Tuesday nights at the end of training.
• Putting the footballs & cones away and sweeping out the rooms.
• Umpires escort or Interchange stewards - must be at least 18 years of age.
• Goal or boundary umpires- must be at least 15 years of age.
• Team runner - must be at least 18 years of age.
• Water carriers - must be at least 15 years of age.
• Gate & Raffle at all home games. Extra gate personal or ticket sellers for even one or two games would spread the workload.

After Match:

All home games in 2008: A member of the Coaching Staff or player group will address members and supporters with their report on all the games from 6:00 pm. Win, lose or draw. Ladders and results from other games will be announced as soon as they become available (normally approx 7:00 pm).

This is also a great opportunity to see all our new merchandise as well as mingle with the players and other members and get to know each other.

Ladies, you are welcome inside the Social Club during or after the game. Come inside after every home game for some refreshments and socialize with others. This is open for everyone, but part of this is devoted to letting the women associated with the club also get to know each other. The idea is to generate a more tight knit feeling at the club where everyone feels welcome and familiar with each other. Spread the word to your friends, mothers and sisters.

There will also be a prize for a lucky patron in attendance.
