Noble Park Football Club: Premiers in 2010

Prior to the Club’s relaunch, we plan to review all our current member promotions. We anticipate instigating a new member rewards program, to provide incentives and rewards for members across all areas of the Club.

GAMING UPDATE

On the 16th August this year we take control of our gaming operation from Tattersalls. The Board has considered many options for managing our gaming operation, including offers from a number of service providers, and have decided to ‘go it alone’ with the Club solely managing the venue.

This decision is based on your Board’s confidence that our manager, Mark, has the gaming experience and expertise to successfully operate and ensure continued success of our gaming operations. Over the last year or so, as other gaming venues have struggled to grow their revenues, Mark has managed to achieve continued turnover and revenue growth of our gaming operation.

Our building program includes upgrading our gaming room to provide more open space, inclusion of our four additional gaming machines and the provision of a TAB betting terminal for our gaming room patrons.

We look forward to exciting times ahead with our upgraded facilities and new poker regime.

COMMENCEMENT OF BUILDING RENOVATIONS

The Club has now finally received our Town Planning and Building Permits from Council and our renovations and redevelopment of the Club’s facilities are now underway.

Already the ground floor roof has been replaced and AG Coombs are nearing completion of the new air-condition systems to the gaming room and bistro. Also, the large trees on the western side of the Club have been removed. These trees had been condemned by the Council’s arborist and now open up the area for us to install improved lighting and security cameras to monitor the main carpark.

Our builder, Johns Lyng Group, have established the site and fenced off all areas where both demolition and the new build are to be undertaken. All works are expected to be completed and handed over to the Club by the end of May.

The Sports Bar entrance is no longer accessible to members and we ask all members to bear with us while the building works are being undertaken.

RELAUNCHING AND BRANDING THE CLUB

Your Board has recently approved a plan to relaunch and promote the Club following the completion of the building works.

Part of this includes establishing a new public image for the Club and we are investigating the feasibility of creating a ‘trade mark’ that we will use to promote the Club. We intend using the ‘trade mark’ when advertising and promoting the Noble Park Football Social Club to the local and wider community.
